Mambas (Girls U-18 HS) - Coached by Marty DiCola, USSF "C” and Gus Steadman. The Mambas finished the spring season with a 7-1-0 record in the EHYSL HS-2 division and captured 2nd place. This Summer the Mambas are adding 9 skilled players to the roster and will be training for tournaments in the fall and winter. The spring of 2009 the Mambas will compete in EHYSL HS-1 division. The coaching staff is excited to be working with this hard working group of talented young ladies and looks forward to their success.
Sidewinders (Boys U-16) - Coached by Jonathan Weinstein, USSF National "D" and assisted by Mark Reuter USSF National "D". To think so many years back that the conversations would change from making sure a shirt is tucked in to ‘don’t drink and drive’, is unimaginable to me. But here we all are, still together, with a core group of boys that played on their first team together at U6 and still learning life lessons. The Sidewinders continue to plow onward as a D1 team, playing in numerous tournaments throughout the entire winter, spring and summer seasons. Our last event was the Seaside Classic in RI, before the entire team began high school ball. Thirteen of our fifteen-man roster competed this fall for their local schools! Our next event is the Hempfield Classic in Lancaster PA in November and the start of indoor training. We’re looking forward to numerous tournaments this winter at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome, RCC and The Net in LaGrange to name just a few. Also looking forward to starting the college application process and hopefully continuing to enjoy their love for the game, wherever they play as young adults.
Pythons (Boys U-12) - Cobras s (Boys U-9) - Coached by Jonathan Weinstein USSF National "D". It’s been eight long years since the days of tying player’s shoes, which meant it was time to start a new U9 team! The Cobras formed this past June and have been training twice weekly ever since. Their individual growth and growth as a team has been amazing. At this young age they are sponges, absorbing everything they experience. They played their very first tournament Labor Day weekend and played another Columbus Day. The Cobras will also compete in the Ossining FC Halloween tournament. They’ve are already entered in three indoor events this winter as the team continues to grow in skill and technical ability. They’re a fun bunch to coach at a very fun age!
