TRAVEL DIRECTIONS
CAMP SMITH:

THESE GUIDELINES ARE FOR COACHES, PARENTS, GUESTS AND VISITING TEAMS WHO ARE ATTENDING SOCCER MATCHES AT CAMP SMITH |

1. Camp Smith is an active military base, all adults must have a photo ID to gain entrance to the base. Vehicles are subject to search and pets are not allowed on base. No alcoholic beverages are allowed. Speed limit is 20 MPH and strictly enforced. |

2. Starting at 1800 on 27 Aug 2008 one lane entrance / exit of traffic will begin. This system works on a timer and a vehicle sensor to activate between green and red. Pay close attention to the vehicle hold/stop line at the entrance to CS and on top of the hill by 501. This system will be in operation for at least the next 18 months. |

3. Parking: parking is allowed on base for guest in the designated areas, behind the Visitors center and officers club and at the south end of the parade field. No Parking is allowed on or around the parade field where the soccer fields are located. (The guards will be happy to direct you to an approved parking area) |
| 4. Bathroom facilities: Portable toilets are located in the North East corner of the parade field. The barracks are off limits. Civilians and guests are not allowed in any of the buildings unless it is an emergency. |

5 Garbage: There are no receptacles for garbage at the parade field. Please carry out your trash as well as the trash generated by the teams and their guests. |
FROM NORTH : RTE 9 SOUTH to intersection of Rte 6 & 202 at the Annsville circle.
Follow Rte 6 and 202 West approximately 300 yards, entrance to Camp Smith will be on the right. (between two Army Tanks)
Proceed to Guard shack. Baker Hall will be the first building on the left past post Head Quarters on the right
Fields will be past Baker Hall on the right adjacent to covered bleachers.
FROM SOUTH: RTE 9 or 9a NORTH to intersection of Rte 6 & 202 make left over the Jan Peek Bridge into the Annsville circle. Follow directions above.
FROM WEST: RTE 6 & 202 EAST cross over Bear Mt. Bridge, follow 6 & 202 approximately 2.5 miles turn left into entrance to camp smith.
FROM EAST: RTE 6 OR 202 to intersection of Rte 9 follow to intersection of Jan Peek Bridge. Follow directions above.
FROM TACONIC: EXIT Rte 6 or 202 and follow directions from east.
CROTON POINT PARK
FROM NORTH: RTE 9 south exit Croton point Ave. Make right of the exit cross over the tracks field will be on the left.
FROM SOUTH: RTE 9 north exit Croton point Ave. Make left of the exit cross over the tracks field will be on the left.
HENDRICK HUDSON HIGH SCHOOL
SPENCER FIELD - CROTONFROM NORTH: Follow Rte 9 South. Exit Welcher Ave. in Peekskill. Travel straight through exit on to :
Rte 9a. pass 2 traffic signals (aprox 1 mile) Entrance to the High School will be on the right adjacent to St.Christophers Church.
Field is on the left of the School.
FROM SOUTH: Follow Rte 9 North. Exit Welcher Ave, turn left at exit and left under bridge on to and make a left at light on to Rte 9a. Pass 2 traffic signals (aprox 1 mile) Entrance to the High School will be on the right adjacent to St.Christophers Church.
Field is on the left of the School.
FROM EAST: Follow Rte 6 or 202 West until they intersect Rte 9.
Follow directions from North.
FROM WEST: Follow Rte 6 & 202 over the Bear Mt. Bridge Or follow Rte 84 over the Newberg Beacon Bridge until they intersect with Rte 9. Follow directions from North.
FROM NORTH:
Taconic Parkway
Take Taconic Parkway South
Exit "Underhill Ave. - Croton" Turn right on Underhill Ave. Go approximately 1/2 mile to Route 129, Turn right onto Rte 129 and go approx 4 miles into Croton. You will pass the Croton Dam on the left Approximately 1 mile past the dam you will see two entrances to Wood Road.
Take the second left on Wood Road. Make next right onto Gerstein St. Follow to end, past Elementary School, Field is past the School District Office on your left.
FROM NORTH:
Rte 9
Take Rte 9 South, Exit Rte 129 Croton, Turn left at end of ramp, Go to second traffic light. turn left on to Rte 129, Proceed through next traffic light, Take next right onto Wood Road, Make immediate right on to Gerstein St and follow past Elementary School
Spencer Field is past the District Office on the left.
FROM EAST:
Take Rte 287 West, Continue west to exit for Elmsford Rte 9A north
Follow Rte 9A north it will merge with Rte 9 at Croton Exit Rte 129 make right of ramp, Go to second traffic light. Rte 129 turns left follow directions above.
FROM WEST:
Cross Tappan Zee Bridge Immediately after crossing bridge stay to extreme right for Tarrytown Exit, Get off at Tarrytown Exit Rte9 Proceed North for about 10+ miles to exit for Rte 129 Croton
At end of ramp turn right and go straight through traffic light at next light make left onto Rte 129. Follow directions above.
FROM SOUTH:
Via Saw Mill River Parkway, Bronx River Parkway and the Sprain Continue North and get on the Taconic North Exit at Underhill Ave. - Croton Make a left at end of exit ramp, Go about 1/2 mile to Rte 129,
Make a right onto Rte 129, follow directions above from Taconic.
